Description
Plasma amino acids by ion-exchange is reserved for cases not reliably measured by the reverse phase HPLC technique. This includes the sulphur amino acid homocystine (measured as total homocysteine); and the amino acids citrulline and argininosuccinic acid.

Additional information
Sample should be spun and separated within 30 minutes of collection. Sample should be stored frozen at �20�C until analysis.

0.5ml Lithium Heparin plasma is the preferred type. Serum samples are acceptable.
