Paediatric Pathology Research

 

The department is involved in various collaborative research projects, both within Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)/UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH), and other institutions, as well as research interests within histopathology. The specific research interests include:

 

 

• Dr Michael Ashworth - Cardiac pathology, including congenital heart disease

• Prof Neil Sebire  - Placental and trophoblastic pathology, paediatric tumour and renal pathology, pathology of infant death

Dr Tom Jacques

• Dr Liina Palm

• Dr Samantha Levine

• Glenn Anderson  - Metabolic disease, including electron microscopy

 

Support for Research

 

The department supports a wide range of research projects that involve histology, immunohistochemistry and molecular studies of pathological tissue.
